Services Offered > Scanning

Using Colorado scanning software with a variety of high-end scanners, A&E's technicians create prints or files from your hard-copy originals. Once a document is scanned it can be manipulated to produce quality prints up to 60" wide. A scanned image can be printed in any of our departments -- from small format imaging to ColorMax to a PhotoMax print from our LightJet 5500. Scanned images saved as digital files can be used for print or Internet publishing, backup, storage, and archiving.

Benefits of scanning include:

Document Management
Are there mounds of paper documents cluttering up your office? Do you keep them around "just in case"? Is there a whole room of file cabinets storing infrequently used documents?

Document Management is a process of archiving files to CD. In most cases, this process is used to get rid of bulky paper files. Our scanning technicians run paper documents or drawings through our scanners and copy the resulting files to CD. Most commonly this is done with old project files, manuals, documentation, drawings, and graphics. Archives can include indexes for easier retrieval in the event a document is needed. In some instances, customers supply digital files that our technicians copy to a CD-ROM.
